Construction Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. Duties

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving supplies, equipment, and debris efficiently and safely
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment like concrete mixers, saws, drills, and forklifts following safety protocols
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate construction work
• Assist with concrete work including pouring, finishing, cutting, formwork construction, rebar installation, and concrete pumping
• Build and install formwork for concrete structures using carpentry skills such as framing, metal stud framing, drywall installation, and trim carpentry
• Support masonry work including stucco application, bricklaying, tile laying, and restoration projects
• Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for everyone on site
• Assist with roofing, flooring installation, plastering, caulking, metal stud framing, welding, and other specialized trades as needed
• Operate heavy machinery responsibly for tasks such as concrete pumping or lifting large materials while adhering to safety standards
• Interpret construction plans and blueprints accurately to ensure project specifications are met precisely

Experience

• Previous experience working on construction sites or in related trades such as carpentry, masonry or renovation projects is highly preferred
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations is essential for maintaining a secure work environment
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation including forklifts or cranes is advantageous
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings confidently to support accurate project execution
• Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
• Experience in concrete work such as pouring, finishing, cutting or formwork is highly valued

Pay: $15.00 - $28.44 per hour
