This is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities both on the jobsite and at our warehouse. Work may include demolition and removal of flooring, drywall, cabinets, trim, and other materials; preparing jobsites for installation; loading and unloading materials; cleaning and organizing work areas; and assisting our installers and construction crew as needed.

An important part of this position is helping keep our projects organized and running efficiently. This includes preparing tools, equipment, and materials for upcoming jobs, loading what is needed, cleaning and putting tools away after jobs, and keeping the warehouse, vehicles, trailers, and work areas clean and organized.

We are looking for someone who is not afraid of physical work, takes initiative, follows directions, and understands the importance of showing up on time and being dependable. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn, work as part of a team, take care of company equipment, and take pride in doing their part to complete each job safely and professionally.

Construction or remodeling experience is helpful, but we are also willing to consider someone with a strong work ethic, good attitude, common sense, and a genuine willingness to learn and work.

  • Assist with basic floor preparation and jobsite preparation.
  • Load, unload, move, and organize flooring, cabinets, tools, equipment, and construction materials.
  • Clean jobsites during and after demolition and installation work.
  • Sweep, vacuum, remove debris, and help maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Assist installers and other crew members as directed.
  • Gather and prepare tools, equipment, and materials needed for upcoming jobs.
  • Clean tools and equipment after use and return them to their proper location.
  • Help keep company vehicles and trailers organized and ready for jobs.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
  • Put away incoming materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Help organize flooring, cabinets, remnants, installation supplies, and other inventory.
  • Properly dispose of construction debris and assist with dump runs when needed.
  • Perform other general construction, warehouse, and maintenance duties as assigned.

Skills

  • General construction and demolition skills
  • Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools
  • Basic knowledge of flooring and remodeling work preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn new tasks
  • Good organization and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
  • Attention to detail and quality of work
  • Ability to keep tools, equipment, and materials organized
  • Jobsite and warehouse cleanup skills
  • Ability to load, unload, and safely handle construction materials
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and responsible
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
  • Safety-conscious and respectful of customers' homes and property
  • Ability to adapt to different tasks and jobsite conditions throughout the workday
