Construction Laborer

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps to support various tasks
• Help with concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure quality results
• Install rebar and metal studs according to blueprint specifications for structural integrity
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to support carpentry, stucco, tile laying, and other finishing work
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
• Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for site development and material handling

Requirements

• Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar laborer role is highly preferred
• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools
• Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete cutting, pouring, finishing, and plastering is desirable
• Skilled in using equipment such as concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and other heavy machinery
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions

Pay: $25.92 - $31.21 per hour

Expected hours: 22.0 – 38.0 per week
