Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including material handling and equipment organization
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials
• Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete according to project specifications
• Install rebar and metal studs, construct formwork, and interpret blueprints and schematics for accurate assembly
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while following safety protocols to prevent injuries
• Assist with masonry, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and roofing tasks as needed
• Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to ensure a secure environment for everyone on site

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related field is highly preferred
• Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous
• Familiarity with construction tools such as hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and heavy equipment operation
• Understanding of construction safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Practical experience with concrete forming, finishing, cutting, pouring, and restoration work enhances your suitability for this role
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
• Background in carpentry (including trim carpentry), framing (metal stud framing), masonry, flooring installation, and renovation projects is beneficial

Pay: $25.72 - $30.97 per hour
