Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including moving materials and tools efficiently.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as concrete mixers, saws, drills, and concrete pumps to support various tasks.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials like rebar, concrete forms, drywall, flooring materials, and other supplies needed for construction projects.
• Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure quality craftsmanship.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to help with rebar installation, metal stud framing, tile laying, stucco application, and drywall installation.
• Follow safety protocols diligently by adhering to construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for all team members.
• Assist in the installation of flooring, wall systems, and exterior finishes such as caulking and plastering while maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
• Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work on-site for extended periods.
• Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and commitment to following safety protocols at all times.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining a proactive attitude.

Pay: $24.95 - $30.04 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 36.0 per week

Work Location: In person
