Construction Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including site preparation and cleanup
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively for tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, and finishing
• Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and rebar installation to ensure structural integrity
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans and specifications
• Construct formwork, metal stud framing, and other structural elements following safety protocols
• Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for project progression
• Contribute to the installation of hardscape features, flooring, stucco, plastering, caulking, and renovation work
• Follow all safety regulations related to construction workplace safety standards and procedures
• Assist with the operation of concrete pumps and mixers for efficient concrete placement
• Support the interpretation of construction plans and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on construction projects or in a related laborer role
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and equipment operation
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, technical drawing interpretation, and construction estimating processes
• Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, rebar installation, and concrete pouring methods
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or other heavy equipment (certification preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, and other construction equipment safely
• Experience with metal stud framing, flooring installation, stucco application, plastering, caulking, and renovation tasks is a plus
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions for extended periods
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality workmanship

Pay: $23.63 - $28.45 per hour

Expected hours: 28.0 – 40.0 per week
