Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Operate hand tools and power tools to support various tasks such as framing, concrete mixing, cutting, and finishing
• Prepare and interpret construction plans and blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements
• Perform heavy lifting of materials like drywall, equipment, and building supplies to support ongoing work
• Support construction, organizing, and clean up activities to ensure smooth and precise application
• Install walls, flooring, lights and other maintenance practicies following safety protocols and technical specifications
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris while adhering to construction safety regulations

Skills

• Strong understanding of construction estimating processes for material needs and project timelines
• Experience with building, construction, and electrical related techniques
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including fork lifts and power tools safely
• Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times
• Skilled in carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall installation, stucco application, caulking, flooring installation, plastering, and renovation work
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique to prevent injury
• Competence in interpreting blueprint specifications for precise execution of tasks like rebar installation and formwork construction
• Experience working on diverse construction projects across commercial or residential sites

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
