Duties

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps safely and effectively
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute concrete forming, rebar installation, and framing tasks accurately
• Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and sealing to create durable surfaces and structures
• Construct formwork for concrete projects and install metal stud framing, masonry elements, or trim carpentry as needed
• Execute demolition, restoration, or renovation tasks following safety protocols and project specifications
• Support with heavy lifting of materials like rebar, concrete blocks, or framing components while adhering to safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience working on construction projects with knowledge of construction site safety regulations
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating tools such as concrete mixers, saws, drills, and other power tools
• Ability to interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint specification interpretation is a plus
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of masonry techniques including stucco, tile laying, flooring installation, plastering or caulking is desirable
• Commitment to following safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment
• Prior experience with renovation or restoration projects is advantageous
