Duties

• Assist with the installation of concrete forms, rebar, and other structural components according to blueprints and technical drawings
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as concrete cutting, finishing, pouring, and pumping
• Support heavy lifting activities and transport materials around the construction site efficiently
• Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, formwork, and staging materials for concrete pouring or other tasks
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure construction environment for all team members
• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work
• Perform general site cleanup and organize materials to keep the workspace safe and efficient

Requirements

• Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately
• Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and other construction equipment
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions
• Skills in carpentry, metal stud framing, tile laying, stucco application, caulking, plastering, or working with heavy machinery like concrete pumps is a plus

Pay: $26.21 - $31.57 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
