Construction Laborer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and dismantling of construction sites, including site clearing and material staging
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps to support ongoing work
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately
• Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to create durable structures
• Install rebar, metal stud framing, and perform concrete forming activities following safety protocols and specifications
• Carry out tasks related to heavy lifting, material handling, and precise placement of construction materials like tile, stucco, plastering, and caulking
• Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

• Proven experience working on construction projects with a solid understanding of construction site procedures
• Mechanical knowledge related to tools, equipment operation, and basic maintenance
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and blueprint specifications accurately
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of safety protocol adherence specific to construction workplaces
• Skills in concrete finishing techniques including pouring, cutting, and formwork construction
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
• Experience with rebar installation, metal stud framing, tile laying, stucco application, plastering, caulking, and concrete work is highly desirable
