Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials
• Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete according to project specifications
• Install rebar, formwork, metal studs, and other structural components following blueprints and technical drawings
• Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Interpret construction plans and blueprint specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by removing debris and ensuring safety standards are met at all times

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience working with construction tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately
• Knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping techniques
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and safety regulations on construction sites
• Experience with rebar installation, metal stud framing, flooring installation, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and renovation projects
• Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety protocols at all times

Pay: $25.33 - $30.51 per hour
