Duties

• Assist with the setup and dismantling of formwork, scaffolding, and other structural components according to project specifications.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials.
• Support concrete-related activities including pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping concrete to ensure smooth application and durability.
• Install rebar and metal studs as specified in blueprints to reinforce concrete structures and frameworks.
• Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprint specifications accurately to support project execution.
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for the installation of hardscape features like pavers or retaining walls.
• Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for yourself and your team.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with practical experience working on construction projects.
• Ability to read blueprints, interpret technical drawings, and understand construction plans thoroughly.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and other equipment essential for construction work.
• Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, cutting, pouring, and pumping techniques.
• Experience with rebar installation, metal stud framing, tile laying, plastering, caulking, stucco application, and formwork construction.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and safety protocol adherence within a busy construction environment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique to prevent injury.
• Skilled in interpreting blueprint specifications for tasks such as concrete pouring or steel reinforcement placement.

Pay: $25.14 - $30.27 per hour
