Construction Laborer

Job Summary

As a Construction Laborer, you’ll help move projects forward by preparing work areas, handling materials, and supporting skilled tradespeople. You’ll contribute to a range of construction work, including hardscape, concrete, carpentry, and finishing tasks. Your impact: Careful preparation and safe, reliable work help crews complete quality projects and keep coworkers and site visitors safer.

Duties

• Prepare construction sites, move materials, and perform heavy lifting as needed.
• Use hand tools and power tools to support formwork construction, concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete pouring, pumping, cutting, and finishing.
• Assist with carpentry, metal stud framing, tile laying, plastering, caulking, stucco, and hardscape work.
• Read construction plans and blueprints; interpret technical drawings and blueprint specifications to complete assigned work.
• Follow construction workplace safety regulations and site protocols; maintain tools and work areas.

Requirements

• Construction experience or construction site experience, including working on construction projects, is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and concrete mixers are helpful.
• Ability to follow instructions, interpret plans and drawings, and adhere consistently to safety protocols.
• Construction estimating experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying materials, in an active construction environment.

Pay: $25.55 - $30.77 per hour

Expected hours: 21.0 – 39.0 per week
