JM Precision Home Services is hiring a dependable, hardworking team member to assist with outdoor construction, property improvements, dirt work, and residential and commercial projects throughout Southeast Tennessee.

Our work includes decks, stairs, fences, carpentry, property repairs, drainage, gravel driveway repair, grading, trenching, excavation, and clearing. This is a hands-on position involving physical labor, tools, equipment, and a variety of working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with deck, stair, railing, fence, and gate construction and repairs
• Perform select carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, trim, maintenance, and commercial property repairs
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, compactors, lasers, and construction equipment
• Assist with drainage, trenching, grading, and excavation projects
• Spread, rake, grade, and compact gravel, dirt, and other materials
• Install drainage pipe, catch basins, culverts, and related components
• Operate or assist with mini excavators, skid steers, and mini skid steers when qualified
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites
• Communicate professionally with customers and other team members

Qualifications

• Construction, carpentry, property-maintenance, excavation, landscaping, or equipment-operation experience is preferred
• Equipment experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to arrive on time and work dependably
• Ability to perform physical construction work and lift at least 50 pounds
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Strong attention to safety, workmanship, and jobsite cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation

Starting pay is $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, reliability, equipment-operating ability, and the ability to complete work independently. There is room for increased responsibility and advancement as the company grows.
