Construction Laborer / Event Installer – Event Production

Special Events is Northern California's leading event and tent production rental company. From weddings and corporate galas to festivals and community gatherings, we make unforgettable events happen. We're looking for hardworking, motivated individuals to join our installation team and grow with us.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, installation, and breakdown of tents, staging, flooring, and other event structures
• Load and unload trucks with event equipment and materials
• Work on-site at event locations, including outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions
• Follow safety procedures for rigging, ladder work, and heavy lifting
• Support lead installers with hands-on structure and canvas assembly
• Work flexible schedules, including early mornings, nights, and weekends
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth, on-time event installs

Qualifications

• Comfortable with physical, hands-on outdoor work
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights (ladders, scaffolding)
• Team-oriented, reliable, and ready to learn
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Previous construction, tent installation, or event production experience a plus (but not required)
• Valid driver's license a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $17.50 – $21/hour (depending on experience & skills)
