The night shift keeps our projects moving around the clock, handling earthwork, site prep, and equipment support so day crews start each morning ready to go. Includes required overtime, benefits eligibility after 60 days, and genuine opportunities for long-term career advancement. Key Responsibilities • Earthwork Support: Assist with trenching, backfilling, compaction, and grading during overnight operations. • Site Clearing & Demolition: Clear debris and support controlled demolition scheduled at night. • Temporary Site Systems: Position, fuel, and inspect temporary jobsite light towers, generators, safety barricades, and perimeter fencing. • Site Clearance & Staging: Continuously clear active work areas, organize tools, and remove construction debris to ensure an efficient morning turnover. • Equipment Spotting: Work safely around heavy equipment as a ground spotter and flagger, and help survey crews with stakes and layout. • Night Safety & PPE Protocols: Maintain heightened safety vigilance, situational awareness, and 100% PPE compliance under artificial lighting conditions. Schedule & Overtime Requirements • Shift: Night Shift operations on-site in Brownsville, TX. • Mandatory Overtime: Overtime is required. Candidates must be available for extended overnight shifts and additional weekend nights when project deadlines require extra labor. Qualifications & Requirements • Age & Authorization: Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States. • Reliable Commute: Dependable, independent transportation suitable for third-shift and overnight travel to the Brownsville jobsite. • Night Focus & Stamina: Ability to stay alert, sharp, and physically active throughout overnight shifts. • Physical Capability: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly in outdoor industrial conditions. • Attendance & Safety Focus: Strict commitment to zero tardiness, strong communication, and jobsite safety rules. • Experience: Prior night shift, site work, earthwork, construction, or heavy labor experience strongly preferred.
