Public Sewer Service is seeking dependable, motivated, and hardworking individuals to join our team as Construction Laborers / Helpers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning valuable trade skills, and building a long-term career in the construction and utility industry.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and willing to work as part of a team on a variety of construction, excavation, demolition, and infrastructure-related projects.

Whether you have previous construction experience or are looking to grow in the industry, we are willing to train the right individual with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

What You'll Do

• Assist experienced crew members with construction, demolition, excavation, and utility-related projects
• Prepare, organize, and maintain job sites
• Load, unload, transport, and stage tools, materials, and equipment
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely
• Assist with demolition, site preparation, framing, roofing, drywall, flooring, and general labor tasks
• Perform heavy lifting and physical work throughout the day
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support crews with material handling, setup, and project completion
• Drive company vehicles to transport tools, materials, and equipment as needed
• Follow instructions from supervisors and crew leaders
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA requirements

What We're Looking For

• Construction, demolition, utility, landscaping, paving, or related field experience preferred
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license required
• CDL is a plus, but not required
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn new skills and take direction
• Commitment to workplace safety
