Construction Laborer/Installer

C&H Steel Builds is looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our growing team. We specialize in the erection of pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMBs) throughout Maine and New England.

Construction experience is preferred but not required. We're willing to train the right person, but applicants must be able to read a tape measure proficiently and be comfortable working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Erect pre-engineered steel buildings
• Install roof panels, wall panels, trim, insulation, windows, and personnel doors
• Operate hand and power tools safely
• Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Travel throughout Maine and New England as projects require

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure proficiently
• Comfortable working at heights
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Willingness to travel throughout New England when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction experience
• Steel building or structural steel experience
• Valid driver's license
