Duties

• Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
• Support skilled tradespeople by handling tools, materials, and equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding
• Perform tasks related to roofing, masonry, plastering, carpentry, and construction painting under supervision
• Help with plumbing and electrical work by passing tools or materials and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Conduct basic fabrication and welding tasks as directed to support structural components
• Follow schematics and blueprints to assist with masonry or carpentry projects accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and reporting hazards promptly

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction or related manual labor roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques
• Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, masonry, or carpentry is a plus
• Ability to read schematics or blueprints is advantageous
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
