Construction Labourer

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring projects progress smoothly and efficiently. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute directly to the successful completion of various construction projects, from residential to commercial sites. Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks such as framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring, tile laying, and other construction activities
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to support construction tasks
• Prepare sites by cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials for easy access
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements
• Support installation of plumbing, welding, caulking, and restoration work as needed
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
• Perform general site maintenance including material handling, waste removal, and site cleanup

Requirements

• Prior experience in construction or related manual labor roles is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key
• Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and measuring devices
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications
• Knowledge of drywall installation, painting techniques, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing basics, welding practices, caulking methods, and restoration processes is highly desirable
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Commitment to safety procedures and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license is a plus but not required

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
