Construction Manager - A&A Projects

Our client operates in the manufacturing sector and is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee addition and alteration works at its production facility in eastern Singapore. This role is suited to construction professionals with strong project coordination, cost control and site management experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects from initial planning through completion.
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates and work schedules.
• Track project progress and ensure key milestones are met.
• Coordinate labour, materials, tools and equipment to support site operations.
• Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with applicable building and safety requirements.
• Identify project risks, resolve site issues and take action to prevent delays.
• Prepare progress updates and project status reports for relevant stakeholders.
• Guide site teams and subcontractors, provide feedback and manage work-related issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction management, project management or a related role.
• Candidates coming from general or main contractor background is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction methods, building materials, project costs and quality standards.
• Experience with construction planning or project management software.
• A&A project experience is preferred.
• Project Engineers and Senior Site Engineers with relevant experience may also be considered.
• Able to manage competing priorities, solve problems and coordinate effectively with different stakeholders.
• Good planning, time management and decision-making skills.
