Construction Manager / Assistant Construction Manager

We are a leading contractor in Hong Kong, specializing in major civil engineering projects. As we continue to expand our pipeline of upcoming civil works, we are seeking high-caliber, energetic talent to join our dynamic project management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management & Execution: Assist Senior Management in overall project management, including site execution, progress monitoring, cash-flow management, and contractual issues.
• Cost & Quality Control: Oversee project budgets, cost forecasting, resource allocation, quality assurance, and site safety management.
• Interdisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate effectively between site construction activities, sub-contractors, and technical teams to resolve site queries and mitigate operational risks.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and relevant government authorities, addressing project issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Program Monitoring: Monitor master program timelines to ensure deliverables align with project milestones, statutory standards, and safety requirements.

Key Requirements

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
• Experience: Minimum 10–12 years of practical experience in civil engineering projects.
• Essential Background: Proven track record in construction management for major Hong Kong government / infrastructure projects.
• Professional Qualifications: Corporate membership of HKIE, ICE, or equivalent professional institutions is preferred.
• Languages & Communication: Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Applicants with less post-qualification experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Construction Manager.
