Construction Manager

About the role

Manage landed residential rebuild projects in Singapore from quotation and planning through construction and handover, ensuring timely and quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full landed rebuild projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery
• Review drawings, conduct quantity take-offs and prepare quotations
• Estimate labour, material, subcontractor and preliminary costs
• Plan project schedules, resources, procurement and work sequences
• Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor on budgets, variations and cost control
• Coordinate with the Site Supervisor on daily operations, manpower, materials and subcontractors
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and relevant authorities
• Monitor project progress, workmanship, safety and regulatory compliance
• Resolve site and technical issues and manage defects through handover

About you

• Proven experience managing landed residential rebuild projects in Singapore
• Able to independently handle a full project from quotation to handover
• Hands-on experience in preparing quotations, cost estimates and quantity take-offs
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction practices, costs and regulations
• Able to read architectural, structural and M&E drawings
• Strong coordination, leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Able to work effectively with the Quantity Surveyor and Site Supervisor
