Construction Manager

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee construction activities throughout the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases
• Evaluate and recommend contractors based on cost, quality, reliability, and project capability
• Conduct site assessments, measurements, technical evaluations, and preparation of plans and required permits
• Facilitate bidding processes, including pre-bid meetings, bid evaluation, and contractor coordination
• Manage project execution to ensure timely completion, quality standards, and budget compliance
• Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, building codes, permits, environmental, safety, and insurance requirements
• Develop and maintain construction standards, specifications, and material guidelines
• Manage the accreditation and performance of contractors and suppliers
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and billing requests
• Oversee store renovations, repairs, maintenance, and closure projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in site evaluation, planning, and construction project management
• At least 2–3 years of relevant supervisory or managerial experience
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and government compliance requirements
• Experience in managing permits, licenses, and coordination with regulatory authorities
• Ability to manage construction timelines, budgets, and project execution
• Knowledge of cost analysis, budgeting, and project financial monitoring
• Experience working with contractors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required
