CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

We are seeking 5 experienced Construction Managers to join our team, with positions available across various project sites in the Central and Northern regions.

About the role

Lead end-to-end construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Oversee budgetary aspects, analyze cost implications, and optimize resource allocations. Efficiently manage on-site construction teams and foster effective collaboration. Administer and interpret contracts, ensuring alignment with project requirements and regulatory standards. Implement quality control measures and enforce strict safety regulations on construction sites. Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Identify and promptly resolve construction-related issues to mitigate project risks. Conduct on-site evaluations to assess progress, identify challenges, and drive solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction processes and project outcomes.

  • Project Execution & Management: Lead end-to-end construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring strict adherence to timelines, quality standards, and contract specifications.
  • Cost & Resource Optimization: Oversee financial aspects, analyze cost implications, track budgets, and optimize resource allocations to keep projects profitable and on track.
  • Site Supervision & Team Leadership: Efficiently manage on-site construction teams, foster effective collaboration, and maintain a strong on-site presence through continuous evaluations to assess progress and resolve field challenges promptly.
  • Contract Administration & Compliance: Administer and interpret contracts, ensuring full alignment with project scope, legal guidelines, and local regulatory standards.
  • Quality & Safety Control: Implement stringent quality control measures and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental regulations across all job sites.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact to maintain clear, effective communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Risk Management & Continuous Improvement: Identify construction-related risks early, implement proactive mitigation strategies, and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance site efficiency and project outcomes.

About you

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years and above of hands-on experience in construction project management or site operations.
• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of project financial management, cost controls, and budget tracking.
• Language & Communication: Excellent written and spoken command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Key Attributes: Highly self-motivated, resourceful, analytical, and computer literate with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Working Style: Ability to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, take proactive initiative, and maintain high standards of integrity, flexibility, and professionalism in dynamic site environments.
