About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Construction Manager to lead and oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will be responsible for overall project execution, managing site operations, steering project teams and subcontractors, controlling budgets, and ensuring that all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall Project Management & Execution:

  • Direct and manage all on-site and off-site construction operations, ensuring seamless coordination between the project team, consultants, clients, and authorities.
  • Monitor the master construction schedule, track project milestones, and proactively implement recovery plans to prevent or mitigate delays.
  • Oversee contract administration, including monitoring progress claims, and addressing technical or contractual issues (such as Extension of Time claims or RFIs).

• Resource & Subcontractor Management:

  • Manage and evaluate the performance of main subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient resource allocation and high productivity.
  • Coordinate material procurement, equipment mobilization, and logistics to ensure uninterrupted site progress.

• Quality & Safety Leadership:

  • Ensure strict compliance with all engineering specifications, architectural designs, and statutory building regulations.
  • Champion safety culture on site by enforcing strict adherence to DOSH regulations, company safety policies, and safe work procedures (OSHA requirements).

Job Requirements

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 4 to 8 years of working experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record managing building or civil projects as a Construction Manager or Project Manager (experience with main contractors is a strong advantage).

• Technical Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, site engineering, and contract standards.
  • Strong familiarity with local authority compliance, building codes, and authority approvals.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership, strategic decision-making, and crisis-management abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Possesses a valid driving license and is willing to travel to project sites as required.
