Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly competent Construction Manager to oversee field execution, site operations, structural progress, and safety governance across our major civil infrastructure and building projects in Singapore. In this key operational leadership role, you will lead multidisciplinary site engineering teams, manage main contractor workstreams, and direct project construction lifecycles to ensure execution aligns with quality standards, timelines, and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Operational Leadership: Direct site engineers, foremen, and sub-contractors on structural, civil, architectural, and M&E installation sequences to achieve daily and weekly site targets.
• Progress Tracking & Schedule Control: Drive construction master schedules (3-week lookahead models) using Primavera P6 / MS Project, ensuring project milestones are delivered safely on schedule and within baseline budgets.
• Workplace Safety & Quality Governance: Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines, Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001), and CONQUAS/QM quality standards in strict compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Building and Construction Authority (BCA) guidelines.
• Technical Issue Resolution & Value Engineering: Collaborate with structural design consultants, resident engineers (RE), and accredited checkers (AC) to resolve Request for Information (RFI) technical queries, site discrepancies, and temporary works calculations.
• Stakeholder & Subcontractor Coordination: Lead weekly site progress meetings, evaluate subcontractor valuation claims, manage variation orders, and maintain harmonious working relationships with government authorities (LTA, PUB, BCA, HDB).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Construction Management from an accredited institution recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore.
• Experience: 3+ years of progressive construction site management experience, including a strong track record of managing large-scale civil infrastructure, MRT underground works, or commercial high-rise developments.
• Regulatory Certifications: Registered Resident Engineer (RE) or Resident Technical Officer (RTO) accreditation with IES/ACES, and Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification are advantageous.
• Technical Mastery: Deep operational knowledge of local building codes (Eurocodes, SS 555, Code of Practice for Temporary Works), BCA BIM/VDC execution frameworks, and site management software.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong site leadership skills, crisis management capability, and executive technical communication skills across diverse workforce teams.

Pay: $11,000.00 - $17,500.00 per month
