  • Provide quality oversight for CEI project activities, deliverables, documentation, and field operations
  • Build and maintain positive professional relationships with clients, agency partners, and project stakeholders
  • Support proposals, qualifications packages, and technical pursuit materials.
  • Review and interpret construction plans, contract documents, and technical specifications
  • Communicate clearly with clients, project teams, and field staff to keep work moving safely and efficiently

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of highway construction administration and inspection experience
  • North Carolina Professional Engineer license or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential preferred
  • Familiarity with NCDOT, North Carolina municipalities, or public-sector transportation clients
  • Strong communication skills, including technical writing, client communication, and coordination with project teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead construction teams, promote safe work practices, and support successful transportation project delivery

This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, help grow a regional CEI practice, mentor talented professionals, and contribute to safer, more connected communities. You’ll be part of a collaborative culture that values professional growth, high-quality delivery, and a healthy work-life balance
