Construction Manager

What to Expect

The Construction Manager must believe in, practice, and initiate all of The New Modern Home's values set forth in building better, sustainable, quality homes.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Managing and supervising construction crews and subcontractors.
• Review the work progress on daily basis and plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
• Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders.
• Act as a bridge between the clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams, ensuring smooth project progression.

What You’ll Bring

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a construction management, construction site supervision– or a similar type of role.
• Proven working experience in construction management.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and documents.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
