Construction Manager

About the Role

MOBCO Group is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee major construction activities for projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in large-scale and mega construction projects in the UAE, with proven experience in high-rise buildings, luxury villas, residential developments, or other complex building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the complete construction activities of assigned projects from mobilization through completion and handover.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Plan and monitor construction schedules, resources, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, clients, technical teams, commercial teams, and project management.
• Monitor project progress and ensure key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Review construction methodologies, resolve technical/site issues, and ensure effective coordination between disciplines.
• Monitor site productivity and take corrective action where required.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, project procedures, and UAE regulations.
• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed according to contractual requirements.
• Identify construction risks, delays, and potential project issues and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Prepare and provide regular progress updates and reports to senior management.

Requirements

• 15+ years of proven experience in construction management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Proven experience working on mega or large-scale construction projects in the UAE.
• Strong experience in luxury villa developments, high-rise buildings, or other major building projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, standards, authorities, and site requirements.
• Demonstrated experience managing large site teams and multiple subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of project planning, construction methodologies, quality control, HSE, and project coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage projects under demanding schedules and challenging site conditions.
• Candidates currently in the UAE and available for immediate transfer are preferred.
• Dubai-based candidates or candidates ready to relocate/transfer to Dubai are strongly preferred.
