Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software, coordinating timelines across multiple teams and subcontractors.
• Manage construction budgets by tracking costs, forecasting expenditures, and implementing cost control measures to maximize efficiency.
• Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and building codes.
• Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
• Supervise and manage teams on-site, including subcontractors and labor crews, fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety and productivity.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and other tools to monitor progress, document issues, and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
• Coordinate project schedules with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Ensure regulatory compliance throughout all phases of construction by adhering to local codes and industry standards.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and milestones for executive review and client updates.

Experience

• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management strategies.
• Hands-on experience with construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with construction regulatory compliance requirements across various jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction plans development.
• Experience managing contracts, change orders, and project documentation effectively using project management software like ProCore or Prolog.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
