Construction Manager

About the Role

Kuzu Group is looking for an experienced Construction Supervisors to lead the construction execution of our new Wastewater Treatment Project in Dubai, UAE and new upcoming Projects in GCC Region. This is a multi-disciplinary infrastructure project covering civil, mechanical, electrical and environmental engineering works, and the role requires a hands-on leader capable of coordinating all disciplines on site from mobilization to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Environmental (process) scopes of the wastewater treatment plant

• Oversee civil works: earthworks, concrete structures, tanks, pipe racks and buildings

• Oversee mechanical works: pumps, blowers, process equipment installation, piping and tie-ins

• Oversee electrical & instrumentation works: MV/LV systems, cabling, panels, SCADA/instrumentation coordination

• Oversee environmental/process works: treatment units, commissioning readiness and compliance with environmental discharge standards

• Plan, coordinate and supervise subcontractors, discipline engineers, site engineers and labor resources

• Ensure construction works are executed in line with project schedule, budget, quality and HSE standards

• Monitor progress against the program (Primavera P6) and take corrective actions to prevent delays

• Coordinate interfaces between design, planning, procurement, QA/QC and HSE teams across all disciplines

• Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, ITPs and work procedures for each discipline

• Lead pre-commissioning and commissioning coordination with process/mechanical/electrical teams

• Liaise with the client, consultant and relevant authorities (e.g., municipality, DEWA) on technical and contractual matters

• Report project progress, risks, interface issues and resourcing needs to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Environmental Engineering (or related discipline)

• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management, with proven experience in wastewater / water treatment or similar multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects

• Solid understanding of civil, mechanical, electrical and environmental/process interfaces on treatment plant projects

• Prior experience in the Gulf region (UAE preferred) is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and international construction standards

• Excellent leadership, planning and multi-disciplinary site management skills

• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus

• Willingness to be based on-site in Dubai, UAE
