Construction Manager

Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly driven and technically astute Construction Manager with a solid foundation in either Civil or MEP engineering to lead the on-site execution of our flagship Data Center construction project in Qatar. You will be responsible for driving daily construction progress, managing specialized subcontractors, ensuring rigorous quality compliance, and synchronizing civil handovers with complex MEP fit-outs to deliver a highly resilient, mission-critical facility on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Execution & Site Management

• Lead, direct, and monitor all daily on-site construction activities, ensuring work progresses safely in strict accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
• Manage structural civil works (e.g., heavy foundations, reinforced concrete structures, structural steel) OR oversee complex MEP system installations (e.g., MV/LV power systems, redundant cooling setups, generator rooms, fire suppression, and BMS).
• Enforce smooth transitions and tight interface coordination between the Civil structural handovers and the commencement of MEP first/second-fix works.

Progress Tracking & Schedule Control

• Collaborate closely with the Project Control team to maintain, track, and optimize the master construction program (Baseline Schedule).
• Identify potential field delays or architectural/engineering bottlenecks early, proactively implementing recovery plans to hit critical data center milestones (e.g., building envelope closure, power-on, and room readiness).
• Conduct daily and weekly progress review meetings with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to resolve site conflicts.

Subcontractor & Interface Coordination

• Act as the primary site point of contact for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP subcontractors, evaluating their performance, manpower allocation, and material availability.
• Work hand-in-hand with the Site Logistics Team to ensure critical equipment, bulk materials, and specialized tools are delivered to the exact work faces exactly when needed to eliminate downtime.

Quality Assurance & Data Center Compliance

• Ensure all works adhere to the ultra-strict quality standards, clean-room requirements, and tolerances mandatory for mission-critical Data Center infrastructures.
• Oversee the inspection process (IRs/WIRs) with the QA/QC team and Client Consultants, ensuring swift resolution of punch-list items.
• Assist the testing and commissioning teams during the pre-commissioning phases of core facility infrastructure.

HSE Leadership

• Champion a strict "Zero-Accident" safety culture across all active work zones, ensuring total compliance with Qatar construction safety regulations and project-specific HSE directives.

Pay: QAR9,500.00 - QAR18,000.00 per month
