Construction Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:-

Element has an opportunity for a Construction Maanager. In this role, you will be a member of the operational leadership team reporting to the Operations Manager or General Manager and perform a variety of leadership responsibilities within the department (facility revenue of less than $3M) to ensure timely and accurate test results are delivered. All Operational Leadership positions must be proficient in several core business skills including but not limited to compliance with established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:-

• Leads department safety performance and fosters a strong safety-first culture.
• Supports department operations and growth under the direction of the Operations or General Manager.
• Plans, assigns, and schedules work for team members.
• Assists in project coordination from initiation to completion.
• Ensures quality, timeliness, and accuracy of test reports.
• Demonstrates understanding of Element’s capabilities to clearly communicate testing service benefits.
• Acts with integrity and professionalism as a representative of Element.
• Promotes and enforces Element's quality assurance and safety programs.
• Manages staffing decisions, including hiring, performance reviews, and timecard approvals.
• Works with team to maintain balanced and efficient work schedules.
• Maintains a respectful and compliant workplace, ensuring adherence to work rules.
• Leads the team with fairness and supports employee development.
• Handles administrative tasks such as invoicing, job tracking, and supplying data for reports.
• Reviews testing services to identify capacity growth and process improvement opportunities.
• Translates client technical needs into pricing, timelines, and support for quoting/commercial activities.
