Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in UAE villa and high-rise building projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing all construction activities, coordinating project teams, controlling project costs and schedules, and ensuring that work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all construction activities for villa and high-rise building projects from commencement to final handover.
• Develop and implement construction plans, work schedules, and execution strategies to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, planning engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure all activities are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Ensure proper execution of civil, structural, architectural, finishing, and related construction works.
• Review construction drawings, technical documents, and project specifications to identify and resolve site-related issues.
• Monitor project budgets, manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources to achieve cost-effective construction.
• Identify potential delays, technical challenges, and resource constraints, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, local authority requirements, project specifications, and health and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and coordination meetings to monitor progress, quality, safety, and productivity.
• Supervise and guide site engineers, general foremen, foremen, subcontractors, and other construction personnel.
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed and coordinate with the QA/QC team to rectify non-conformities.
• Coordinate with procurement and commercial teams to ensure timely material delivery, subcontractor performance, and cost control.
• Monitor concrete works, structural activities, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, painting, and other finishing activities.
• Review progress reports, construction schedules, manpower requirements, and material procurement plans.
• Maintain proper coordination between civil, MEP, architectural, and finishing teams to avoid work delays and conflicts.
• Ensure proper site housekeeping, safe working conditions, and effective implementation of health and safety procedures.
• Manage inspections, testing, snagging, defect rectification, and final project handover.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, delays, risks, and required actions.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, authorities, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant construction experience, preferably with substantial UAE experience.
• Proven experience in managing both villa and high-rise building projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, structural works, architectural finishes, and site management.
• Good understanding of UAE construction standards, authority requirements, quality procedures, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, team management, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple construction activities simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in reading construction drawings, reviewing technical documents, and monitoring project schedules.
• Strong coordination skills with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams.

Pay: Up to AED35,000.00 per month
