Construction Manager

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale, technically complex construction project in Germany.

This role will involve overseeing site execution, coordinating multiple contractors and ensuring construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site execution and coordinate construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage subcontractor performance, workforce planning and daily site activities.
• Monitor programme delivery, identify potential delays and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety legislation and project quality requirements.
• Oversee project costs, resource allocation and the management of variations.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning and commercial teams to resolve site challenges.
• Review construction progress, report on key milestones and escalate delivery risks.
• Ensure project records, inspection documentation and compliance requirements are maintained.
• Coordinate inspections, defect resolution and final project handover activities.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality and accountability across site teams.

Essential Requirements

• 4+ years experience in construction management or site supervision.
• Strong understanding of construction delivery, site coordination and project controls.
• Relevant trade background or qualification in construction, engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience managing subcontractors and delivering large-scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Data centre or other technically complex construction experience would be advantageous.
