What they need
About the role
Lead the site. Drive performance. Build with Vineyard.
Vineyard Construction Inc., a well-established construction company in Cebu, is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead site execution and translate construction plans into safe, efficient, and quality project delivery.
This is an opportunity for a decisive, hands-on construction leader to take charge of daily site operations—from mobilization and structural works through architectural, MEPF coordination, finishing, and project closeout. You will direct site engineers, supervisors, construction crews, and subcontractors, ensuring that manpower, materials, equipment, and work sequences support project milestones and approved budgets.
We are looking for a results-driven professional who can anticipate site constraints, resolve technical and coordination issues, monitor productivity, and implement recovery measures when targets are at risk. You will enforce compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and safety and quality standards while maintaining clear accountability across the site team.
Working closely with the Project Manager, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders, you will keep construction activities aligned, address concerns promptly, and drive work through inspection, punch-list completion, and handover.
If you have the expertise to lead people, solve site challenges, and turn plans into measurable progress, we invite you to build with Vineyard.
Key responsibilities
- Develop the overall construction execution strategy, master schedule, budget framework, work plans, and key project controls
- Align construction activities with contract requirements, approved designs, codes, permits, quality standards, and client commitments
- Establish project risk, procurement, resource, stakeholder, and change-management strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns
- Convert the master plan into detailed schedules, look-ahead plans, resource loading, procurement priorities, and measurable team targets
- Coordinate project managers, engineers, QA/QC, safety, contractors, consultants, and support teams to maintain clear work fronts and handoffs
- Direct daily site execution and verify that work follows approved drawings, specifications, methods, sequence, and required workmanship
- Lead coordination and progress meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams; document decisions and accountabilities
- Monitor accomplishments, critical-path activities, productivity, manpower, materials, equipment, expenses, and cash-flow requirements against plan
- Conduct regular site inspections and enforce quality, safety, environmental, housekeeping, and regulatory requirements
- Resolve design changes, site constraints, resource shortages, contractor disputes, and other issues through timely corrective and preventive action
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
- A valid professional license as a Civil Engineer or Architect is preferred and may be required depending on the project
- At least five years of construction project management experience, including leadership of mid-to-large-scale projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering principles, material specifications, contracts, building codes, safety regulations, quality systems, and environmental requirements
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project reporting or document-control tools
- Working capability in budgeting, cost estimation, financial reporting, procurement, change control, claims, and progress measurement
- Strong planning, organization, analytical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, and stakeholder communication
- Ability to interpret drawings and data, prepare clear management reports, and make timely decisions under pressure
- Proven leadership, delegation, coaching, performance management, conflict resolution, and cross-functional coordination
- High accountability, integrity, commercial awareness, adaptability, resilience, and commitment to safe and quality work
