Construction Manager (Fujairah Project)

JOB PURPOSE

The Construction Manager will take ownership of on-site construction execution for the Fujairah project, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical specifications, schedule, and quality standards. The role involves direct oversight of site supervisors, subcontractors, and trades, working closely with the Project Manager to translate the project plan into effective site delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage on-site construction execution, ensuring works are carried out safely and in accordance with technical specifications.

• Coordinate site supervisors, subcontractors, and trades to ensure works progress in line with the construction programme.

• Monitor construction quality, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes and standards.

• Identify and resolve site-level technical issues, coordinating with design and engineering teams as required.

• Manage day-to-day site resources, including labor, plant, and materials, to maintain productivity and progress.

• Enforce HSE requirements on site, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.

• Support the Project Manager with progress reporting, forecasting, and identification of schedule risks.

• Review and coordinate subcontractor work methods, sequencing, and interfaces between trades.

• Participate in site inspections, quality audits, and snagging/de-snagging processes.

• Mentor and provide guidance to site supervisors and junior engineers.

• Ensure all construction activities are fully documented and compliant with company procedures and UAE regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 10–14 years of construction management experience, including large-scale construction projects in the UAE.

• Proven experience managing on-site execution in the Eastern Region of the UAE is preferred.

• Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and technical specifications.

• Immediate availability is an advantage.
