WE’RE HIRING!

Construction Manager – MEP Specialist

📍 Location: Tangerang, Banten

ABOUT US :

Established in 2024 in Malang, Indonesia, PT Dua Pendekar Ayam is the powerhouse behind Dikichi — a bold fried chicken brand on a mission to serve high-quality, affordable fried chicken to the masses.

Our ambition? To become Indonesia’s No. 1 fried chicken brand and take it global.

At PT Dua Pendekar Ayam, culture is everything. We’re bold, fun, and impact-driven. Speed, resilience, agility, collaboration, and extreme ownership are not just values — they’re how we win. Here, people don’t just work. They grow, lead, and thrive.

ABOUT THE ROLE :

We’re looking for a technically strong, detail-oriented, and solution-driven Construction Manager with MEP expertise who understands that reliable utility systems are essential to the successful construction and operation of F&B outlets.

This role is more than just supervising construction activities. You’ll oversee MEP and gas design coordination, Bill of Quantities (BoQ) preparation, tender clarification, on-site inspections, utility testing, and commissioning. You’ll ensure that all installations meet technical specifications, safety requirements, operational needs, project budgets, and construction timelines.

You’ll work closely with Design, Project, Operations, Procurement, contractors, consultants, and utility vendors to ensure that every outlet is delivered with reliable, efficient, and compliant utility systems. If you have strong MEP technical expertise, enjoy solving complex construction challenges, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and tight deadlines, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

  • Oversee MEP & Gas Design Coordination – Review and oversee technical drawings for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, ventilation, kitchen exhaust, and gas systems to ensure design accuracy, constructability, and compliance with operational requirements.
  • Review BoQ & Tender Documentation – Oversee the preparation and validation of MEP and gas BoQs, technical specifications, and tender documents to ensure accurate quantities and appropriate cost estimates.
  • Lead Technical Tender Clarification – Evaluate contractor proposals, clarify technical scopes, compare specifications, and identify potential gaps, risks, or cost-saving opportunities before project execution.
  • Supervise Construction & Site Inspections – Monitor on-site construction activities, inspect MEP and gas installations, and ensure work complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
  • Optimize Utility Systems – Recommend practical solutions to simplify utility systems, improve efficiency, reduce unnecessary costs, and maintain the operational performance of kitchen equipment and restaurant facilities.
  • Ensure Utility Testing & Commissioning – Oversee testing, commissioning, and functional verification of MEP and gas systems before outlet handover to ensure safe, reliable, and operationally ready installations.
  • Control Construction Quality & Safety – Identify technical deviations, monitor corrective actions, and ensure contractors follow applicable construction, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and gas safety requirements.
  • Manage Contractors & Technical Issues – Coordinate contractors, consultants, and vendors to resolve technical problems, manage design changes, and prevent delays during construction.
  • Validate Final Accounts & As-Built Quantities – Review final accounts, verify actual installed quantities against approved BoQs and site conditions, and ensure payment claims are supported by valid documentation.
  • Monitor Project Progress & Costs – Track construction progress, identify potential delays or budget variances, and coordinate corrective actions to meet project targets.
  • Standardize MEP & Gas Specifications – Support the development and improvement of standard MEP and gas specifications for new outlet openings and renovations to improve consistency, maintainability, and cost efficiency across locations.
  • Coordinate Project Handover – Ensure complete technical documentation, testing records, commissioning reports, as-built drawings, and relevant warranties are available before project handover.

YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in construction projects, preferably in F&B, restaurant, retail, or commercial projects, with at least 3 years of relevant MEP or construction supervision experience.

  • Have hands-on experience supervising MEP and gas installations in F&B outlets, central kitchens, or commercial facilities.

  • Have strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, ventilation, kitchen exhaust, and gas distribution systems.

  • Understand technical drawing reviews, BoQ preparation, quantity validation, tender clarification, and construction cost control.

  • Have experience overseeing utility testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project handover.

  • Understand construction quality standards, site inspection procedures, occupational safety, and applicable technical regulations.

  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

  • Have strong analytical, technical problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Possess excellent communication, coordination, negotiation, and contractor management skills.

  • Are detail-oriented, firm in enforcing standards, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

  • Are willing to travel to project sites and support new outlet openings or urgent construction requirements as needed.

  • Experience in multi-outlet F&B expansion, kitchen equipment utilities, and standardized restaurant construction is a strong advantage.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS :

As Dikichi continues to expand its restaurant network, reliable MEP and gas systems are critical to ensuring that every outlet operates safely, efficiently, and consistently from day one.

As Construction Manager – MEP Specialist, you’ll play a key role in bridging technical design, construction execution, cost control, and operational readiness. Your expertise will help prevent installation issues, reduce unnecessary construction costs, ensure proper commissioning, and maintain consistent technical standards across our outlets.

This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on Dikichi’s expansion by building reliable utility systems and scalable construction standards that support long-term operational efficiency and business growth.
