Construction Manager - Solar

About the role

Oversee installation of solar PV modules, ground-mounted and rooftop systems, and related construction for solar projects. Ensure compliance with approved installation methods and manufacturer requirements, and coordinate testing, commissioning, energization, and project turnover activities.

• Ensure compliance with approved installation methods and manufacturer requirements
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, energization, and project turnover activities
• Ensure construction complies with project specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor productivity and workmanship
• Coordinate daily construction activities and resolve site issues promptly
• Promote a strong safety culture on all project sites
• Monitor project budget and construction costs
• Control manpower, equipment, and subcontractor expenses
• Attend project meetings and provide construction updates

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
• 2–3+ years of construction management experience
• Direct experience managing Solar PV projects
• In-depth knowledge of Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and applicable electrical/safety standards
• Able to read, review, and interpret electrical, SLD, and solar plans
• Knowledgeable in DC/AC systems, inverters, PV modules, batteries, grounding, and protection systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of solar design software is an advantage
• TESDA NC II in Electrical Installation and Maintenance is preferred
