Construction Manager (Tunnel)

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all geotechnical and tunnelling works on site.
• Oversee foundation works, slope works, earth-retaining structures, excavation and lateral support (ELS) systems.
• Manage tunnelling works, geotechnical monitoring and demolition of existing structures.
• Ensure works are carried out in compliance with project specifications, safety, quality and statutory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate with project stakeholders on geotechnical and construction-related matters.

Requirements

• Corporate Member of HKIE (Civil or Geotechnical Discipline) or equivalent professional institution acceptable to the Project Manager.
• Minimum 10 years of post-professional qualification experience in the supervision of design and construction of underground tunnels and/or caverns.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in tunnel and/or cavern construction works.
• Proven experience in geotechnical engineering and underground works projects.
