Construction Mechanical Estimator

Our client is seeking a Construction Mechanical Estimator , you will be an integral part of our fast-paced environment, conducting construction estimating, budgeting, and bidding for a diverse range of exciting projects. As a mechanical estimator you will calculate the total cost of materials, labor equipment, and permits for mechanical construction projects like HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems. Your responsibilities will include interacting with architects, clients, business development, and operations staff to ensure a crystal-clear understanding of project objectives, schedules, and other essential information.

Job Function:

• Your responsibilities will include interacting with architects, clients, business development, and operations staff to ensure a crystal-clear understanding of project objectives, schedules, and other essential information.
• You’ll also develop hard bids and pricing proposals in response to specific requests, obtain cost information from reliable subcontractors and suppliers, and collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding results.
• As a mechanical estimator you will calculate the total cost of materials, labor equipment, and permits for mechanical construction projects like HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, showcasing your commitment to excellence.
• Strong mathematical and organizational skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in reading plans and performing comprehensive takeoffs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite software and Adobe Acrobat, allowing you to work efficiently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, ensuring smooth collaboration with all stakeholders.
• Senior Level: A proven track record with at least 5 years of experience in estimating within a professional construction firm, demonstrating your expertise and proficiency.
