£27,000–£29,000 starting salary

Advanced Basements is looking for a Trainee Construction Site Operative to join our specialist waterproofing team.

This isn’t just a general labouring job.

You’ll work alongside experienced teammates, solving interesting building problems and learning specialist skills in waterproofing, damp proofing and construction.

Every project is a little different. One day you could be working in a basement, the next installing drainage and pumping systems, membranes or carrying out specialist remedial building work.

What you’ll do

• Work alongside experienced operatives on residential and commercial projects
• Learn specialist waterproofing and damp proofing systems
• Use hand and power tools
• Help install membranes, drainage systems and pumps
• Carry out practical building and preparation work
• Work as part of a team to solve problems on site
• Keep projects safe, tidy and well organised

We’re looking for someone who:

• Enjoys practical, hands-on work
• Has some previous construction, labouring or practical experience
• Is comfortable using basic tools
• Is reliable and turns up on time
• Works well with others
• Wants to learn and improve
• Has a full UK driving licence
• Holds a CSCS card

You’ll receive training from experienced operatives and have the opportunity to progress into a skilled specialist operative role as your knowledge and ability develop.

You don’t need to arrive as an expert. We’re looking for people who want to become one.

Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
