Pipefitters / Water & Sewer Installers

Role Overview

Installs underground utilities including water, sanitary, storm, and associated structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of site services infrastructure ( storm, water, and sanitary services )
• Install PVC, HDPE, DI, and concrete pipe systems.
• Set manholes, catch basins, and chambers.
• Perform laser and grade checks.
• Support excavation, bedding, backfill, and compaction.
• Follow municipal and provincial installation standards.
• Maintain safe trenching and shoring practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with deep utilities and municipal infrastructure.
• Understanding of grades, elevations, and pipe laser use.
• Ability to work in rock, groundwater, and tight urban corridors.
