Construction Piping Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Piping Construction Engineer to join our team for Offshore Oil & Gas projects.

The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on offshore site experience in piping construction, fabrication, erection, installation, testing, and field execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate piping construction activities at offshore sites.
• Manage daily piping works including fit-up, erection, installation, supports, welding, testing, and reinstatement.
• Supervise and coordinate fitters, welders, riggers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor daily manpower, productivity, progress, and work fronts.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, piping isometric drawings, GA drawings, layouts, and construction drawings.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Engineering, and offshore operations teams.
• Ensure piping works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, ITPs, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate and support hydrotesting, flushing, reinstatement, punch-list clearance, and commissioning activities.
• Identify and resolve piping construction and technical issues at site.
• Coordinate with the Client, Main Contractor, Subcontractors, and Offshore Construction Team.
• Ensure all activities are performed safely and in compliance with HSE requirements and project procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Piping Construction / Site Execution within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Offshore Oil & Gas experience is mandatory.
• Proven hands-on experience in piping installation, erection, fabrication, and field execution.
• Experience supervising construction manpower and subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of P&IDs, Isometrics, GA drawings, piping layouts, and construction drawings.
• Experience with hydrotesting, flushing, reinstatement, and punch-list activities.
• Good knowledge of applicable ASME, API, and project standards.
• Strong communication, coordination, and site leadership skills.
• ADNOC offshore project experience is highly preferred.
• Willingness and ability to work in an offshore site environment.
