We are looking for a Construction Procurement Manager to join our Siemens Smart Infrastructure team. This position will be based in Dallas, TX, and work a hybrid schedule from the Dallas, TX office.

In this role, you will lead sourcing strategy for complex, high-value project pursuits, helping Siemens strengthen its competitive position, reduce execution risk, and deliver impactful infrastructure solutions for customers.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Leading end-to-end sourcing for third-party materials and subcontracted scopes on large, complex project pursuits, including competitive RFQ/RFP processes, bid leveling, negotiations, and award recommendations.
  • Partnering with Sales during early pursuit stages to develop sourcing strategies that support a competitive cost position.
  • Working with Procurement peers in category management to leverage Siemens’ buying power across project opportunities.
  • Collaborating with Operations and Engineering to reduce risk on subcontract and material purchases during project execution.
  • Serving as a business partner to the area management team by bringing market insight, sourcing discipline, and procurement strategy to project decisions.
  • Supporting project and stakeholder engagement through occasional travel, approximately 10%.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of experience in commercial construction, procurement, sourcing, estimating, project management, subcontractor management, or a related construction-focused function.
  • Experience supporting sourcing and negotiation activities for subcontracted scopes, materials, bid packages, RFQ/RFP processes, or supplier/subcontractor selection.
  • Familiarity with construction documents, project scopes, commercial risk factors, and the factors that make a subcontractor or supplier a strong project partner.
  • Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively across Sales, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and external partners.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% for project and stakeholder engagement.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, construction procurement, subcontractor management, sourcing, estimating, or project execution.
  • Experience with MEP trades, specialty contractors, building technologies, infrastructure projects, or large-scale construction pursuits.
  • Experience conducting bid leveling, supplier or subcontractor negotiations, project sourcing strategy, and award recommendations.
  • Ability to create competitive tension through market knowledge, supplier strategy, and business insight.
  • Interest in technology, automation, artificial intelligence tools, or process improvement within procurement or construction operations.
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset, curiosity, and ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
