Project Architect – Job Description

A Project Architect is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and overseeing architectural projects from conceptual development through construction completion. The role ensures that designs meet client requirements, building codes, project specifications, quality standards, and deadlines while coordinating with engineers, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs, plans, layouts, and construction drawings based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and other technical documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to approved designs, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve design-related issues encountered during construction.
• Prepare and review project documentation, technical reports, specifications, and design submissions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and local permitting requirements.
• Manage design revisions, material selections, and requests for information (RFIs) in coordination with the project team.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on design progress, construction issues, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with document controllers to ensure proper filing, tracking, distribution, and revision control of architectural drawings and project documents.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Professional architect license, where required.
• Experience in architectural design, project coordination, and construction documentation.
• At least 8 years experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other architectural design software.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and architectural standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
