CONSTRUCTION PROJECT COORDINATOR

Position: Construction Project Coordinator
Location: Chile
Employment Type: Full-Time
Monthly Salary: $1,600,000 - $2,000,000 CLP gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and results-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to support and coordinate construction projects from planning through completion.

The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction project activities and site operations.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and internal teams.
• Track project progress and prepare regular status reports.
• Review plans, specifications, technical documentation, and project requirements.
• Identify delays, risks, and operational issues and help implement solutions.
• Support procurement and coordination of materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and construction standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Participate in site meetings, inspections, and project reviews.
• Assist the Project Manager with planning, reporting, and cost control.

Requirements

• Degree or technical qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Previous experience in construction project coordination or a similar role.
• Knowledge of construction processes, schedules, contractors, and project documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work on-site when required.
