What they need

Building Beyond Boundaries

The construction industry continues to evolve, and we believe the strongest organizations are those willing to think beyond traditional limits. Building beyond boundaries means delivering complex projects through collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.

We are a collaborative construction team delivering Institutional, Healthcare, Commercial, and Community projects. Our culture is built on accountability, problem-solving, teamwork, and investing in our people.

If you are an organized and motivated construction professional looking to grow your career in project management and gain hands-on exposure to all stages of construction, this is an opportunity to develop alongside an experienced project team.

About the Role - Project Coordinator

As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Superintendent, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to support projects from pre-construction through close-out.

This is a hands-on role combining project coordination, procurement, documentation, cost control, scheduling, and site involvement. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and wants to develop into a well-rounded construction Project Manager.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Support the Project Manager with the planning and execution of construction projects.
  • Coordinate with Site Superintendents, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change documentation, meeting minutes, and project correspondence.
  • Track schedules, procurement, long-lead items, project milestones, and outstanding action items.
  • Assist with subcontractor procurement, quotations, purchase orders, change orders, and cost tracking.
  • Review drawings and specifications to identify coordination issues and project requirements.
  • Attend project meetings and site visits and follow up on assigned action items.
  • Support inspections, deficiencies, commissioning, and project close-out.
  • Identify potential issues early and work with the project team to develop practical solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of relevant construction experience in project coordination, estimating, project management, or a related role.
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, Building Science, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in both office and active construction site environments.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Strong interest in developing a long-term career in construction project management.
  • Valid Ontario driver's licence.

Experience with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, construction management software, and scheduling tools is considered an asset.

Why Join Us

We offer an environment focused on continuous learning, mentorship, and long-term career growth.

You will work alongside a Professional Engineer and experienced construction team while gaining exposure to estimating, procurement, scheduling, cost control, consultant coordination, field operations, and project close-out.

Our Project Coordinators are not limited to administrative tasks. We want you involved in the construction process, visiting sites, understanding the drawings, solving problems, and progressively taking on greater project responsibility.
