Construction Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Review estimator takeoffs, proposals, and contracts to confirm alignment of the project scope.
• Identify project material requirements and prepare submittals for general contractors and owners.
• Prepare, distribute, track, and maintain project documentation, including material submittals, LEED documents, warranties, and closeout records.
• Communicate product approvals and architect/engineer submittal comments promptly to project managers and superintendents.
• Maintain accurate, organized departmental records in the QC tracking database.
• Review contracts, purchase orders, and invoices for accuracy; obtain approvals as required.
• Read and interpret structural drawings and specifications relevant to the company’s work.
• Support the development and implementation of departmental process improvements.
• Cross-train on related departmental duties to provide coverage as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• One year of construction-related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Familiarity with Viewpoint and AutoCAD preferred; ability to learn new software.
• Understanding of construction project management processes.
• Strong organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks, work independently, and collaborate with a team.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, professional conduct, and company policies.
